So as well all know, the Lockdown Levels are starting to change and the country will be heading down to Level 3 on Monday, 1 June 2020.

As we are not yet able to open our doors, we are hard at work in the backround to take steps and ensure compliance with regulations that will be adopted when our tourism sector reopens.

Alot of new Safety Posters and social spacing work will have to go into all this, but its to protect you and ourselves until we finally defeat this virus.

Check back regularly to see what is happening and how we are working to ensure that when we “hit the road” again, it will be even more SAFER and FUN.

Til next time…

Safety Training onboard JamJar

Here at Madevu, we pride ourselves with ensuring that we remain compliant interms of the SAMSA Regulations and ensuring that our vessels and crew onboard them on continuously up-to-date with training requirements.

Before lockdown, all our staff got involved in a training exercise to test their skills and to ensure that they always know what to do, should they encounter and emergency situation.

Apart from monthly drills carried out, this drill was of particular importance, as it dealt with rescuing someone from the water and ensuring their safety.

!00% Safety % Knowledge… only at Madevu 😀

Lockdown and Safety

As we all know, we have been locked up in our homes to assist the government in curbing the spread of the Corona virus.

As much as this has been a spanner in the works for us here, we take it as an opportunity to carry out much needed maintenance on all our boats.

Downtime doesn’t mean let safety equipment expire.

Since we have received a permit to carry out maintenance, we have been busy carrying out critical work, to ensure everything stays in tip top shape until we are able to start the business up again.
